Citrine Individual Coaching For Women
What Is Personalized Coaching?
Coaching is where a trained coach helps an individual clarify their goals and help them to unlock their potential through thought provoking questions, specific guidance and support.
What Is the Difference Between Therapy and Coaching?
It depends on who you ask. Commonly psychotherapists and coaches would say the delineation lies between the duration of the client interaction (shorter for coaching), the difference of time focus for the individual; the past for therapist, and the future for coaches. Finally, therapy is deeply steeped in psychotherapeutic theories and methodologies, which coaching presumably is not.
However, coaches and therapists can mutate the above “differences” and adapt them to their respective approaches. The only truly identifiable difference between therapy and coaching is licensure. Presumably under formal medical training with a deep study of psychologically based mental diseases, traumas, and challenges and their underlying causes with the ability to diagnose and treat (with or without medication).
How Does Citrine Approach Coaching?
Danielle’s coaching approach is like that of a high performance athletic coach, but for high performing female professionals. It is a combination of mental, emotional, professional and needs based observation, training, and accountability; to help clients achieve their career goals without sacrificing their boundaries and values.
PERSONALIZED
Initial sessions will be dedicated to discussing and assessing where you are professionally, and how you currently feel emotionally, mentally, and personally about your career journey. Then we’ll discuss how you want to be, and your future career goals. You’ll do some work, to help you really refine what those are.
YOUR 1:1 COACHING WILL BE
TARGETED
Each week, you’ll receive assignments to focus on the different aspects that need refining for you to fulfill your ambitions. Everyone has pain points when it comes to achieving their aspirations, and this is where you will find them. We will work closely to identify why and how they may show up. Ultimately you’ll be given the tools to coach yourself after the formal coaching relationship has ended.
INTEGRATIVE
The goal of personalized executive coaching is to leave you feeling like you have professional and personal command, empowerment, and clarity. Therefore throughout the process; coaching, assignments and reflections touch on both areas of your life so you no longer see and approach them as mutually exclusive from the other but rather necessarily complementary.
Our Process
Much of the time will be devoted to hearing you tell your story as to why you’ve sought coaching and what you’re hoping to gain from it. During this time your coach may ask you to expand on some of your narrative. At the end of the meeting your coach will discuss possible challenges she has heard and whether she believes she can help you. Together you’ll discuss whether each of you believe working with one another would be a good fit.
Step 1: Consultation
Step 2: Assessment
The next 1-2 meetings will be devoted to teasing out the information you provided during the consultation and the intake form (which would have been provided to you after your initial consultation). In these meetings your coach will discuss common themes and narratives she is hearing.
In subsequent meetings, we’ll work together to identify some thoughts, emotions and behaviors that may be holding you back that you are not aware of. Together, we outline a path forward that’s realistic, strategic, and tailored to your specific challenges and needs- with accountability; in order for you to develop the skills you need to achieve your professional objectives. You’re always part of the process. Your coach will keep communication open-no surprises.
Step 3: Coaching
Step 4: Conclusion
When you’re ready to leave 1:1 coaching, our last meeting we’ll spend discussing your changes and self coaching tools needed to continue you on the path to progress.
Is Coaching Right For Me?
Then Citrine Coaching may be for you. You don’t have to know exactly what it is that is holding you back. You just need to feel that something within you is doing just that, and you want to get to the bottom of it. Coaching can help you get to the “What” and “Why.”
Are You Holding Yourself Back?
Do you want to work at the executive level and lead organizations but you need support and accountability to get there? Are you an executive level leader now, but feel as if you’re not completely in your power or you’re not showing up authentically and harmonizing your personal needs, boundaries and values with your job? Have you been an executive leader who has faced a very difficult and unwanted separation from your organization and is looking to regain your professional confidence and identity. Then you are in the perfect place. Citrine Coaching can help you.
Are You Professionally Ambitious?
Are You Willing to Devote the Time and Effort to the Coaching Process?
Coaching does not offer quick fixes. More than likely the obstacles and challenges you face have been building over years, often decades. That is why Danielle recommends weekly coaching for no less than 3 months (but ideally a minimum of 6 months). It takes constant observation and practice to continue to progress in your strengths and change the challenging mental thoughts, emotions and practices that are holding you back. If you’re ready for the commitment, personal investment, and the accountability, then Citrine Coaching is right for you.
What Makes A Good Coach?
The best coach is the one who has lived experience of the thing you hope to achieve. That doesn’t mean that other coaches can’t be effective in helping you reach your goals. However, real experience goes a very long way in understanding the strengths, challenges, dynamics, stresses, and anxiety that can come along with the goal.
